We’ll start in a scenic town of Kotor in Slovenia and drive all the way south through the most scenic roads in Croatia, Bosna and Herzegovina to finish in The Montenegro, by the scenic Kotor Bay.

The Adriatic Roadtrip Adventure is 7 days of pure driving thrill combined with a roadbook competition. With the entire route carefully planned by us -experienced roadtrippers and seasoned car rally organizers – all you have to do is follow the roadbook and soak in the breathtaking views. Yes – you can drive all the route just by following the printed materials that we’ll give you. So there is no need to use your phone at all. But you can – it is up to you.
Overnight stays are subject of your own booking, but we look for the most amazing little towns and provide you a ready to book list of campsites, apartments and hotels so you can choose the level of luxury that you like and contribute into supporting the local tourism and businesses. Each evening we’ll meet for entertainment and social gatherings, making every leg of the journey a memorable experience.

From the town of Piran to the unique Bay of Kotor, passing through mountains, venetian era towns expiriencing the great Balkan Hospitality. You will visit countries such as Slovenia, Croatia, Bosna and Herzegovina and Montenegro. The place where cultures and religions meet and most importantly where mountains grow straight up from the sea.
Every day of driving will bring you the daily challenges and those who are best at them will win some prizes.
This tour is not only about driving. It’s about a fun of being on a roadtrip in the beautiful scenery. Enjoying driving, food, culture and places. We’ll stop by the gorgeous beaches, will have time to swim in the sea, catch some sun or just enjoy anything. It is a roadtripping vacation, adventure and just a great way to spend a week.
📌 Practical Information:
• What is it? A self-driving adventure through Slovenia, Croatia, Bosna and Herzegovina and Montenegro
• When? September 2026
• How long? Around 1500km driven in 7 days
• Where? The route starts in the town of Piran in Slovenia, goes South through Croatia, Bosna and Herzegovina and ends up in Montenegro by the Kotor Bay. The meeting point is in Piran.
• Who can join? Anyone with a cool car, a love for driving and a sense of adventure!
The route
Day 1 – Starting in the beautiful town of Piran we cross into Croatia and explore the Pula Peninsula. We end the day in Rijeka.
Day 2 – From Rijeka we go more inland to see the Plitvicke Lakes and the abandoned Balkan war era airbase in the mountains.
Day 3 – From Plitvice we drive back to the coast, cross the lovely city of Zadar to end up on the amazing Murter Island.
Day 4 – From Murter Island we drive to the Krka Waterfalls and spend a night in the old City of Trogir
Day 5 – From Trogir we pass the Split (with an option to visit an old town) and drive thorugh the montains into the Bosna and Herzegovina, where we’ll spend the night in the lovely city of Mostar.
Day 6 – Starting in Mostar we explore more of the Bosnan wonders and we come back to Croatia to visit the City of Dubrovnik.
Day 7 – From Dubrovnik in Croatia we cross into the Montenegro where we end our day by the Kotor Bay.
The route description is approximate and may be a subject for changes.
The Adventure Format:
• Daily Driving: ~150-250 km per day
• Terrain: Mostly paved roads with optional smooth gravel sections
• Vehicles: Classics, exotics, rare or simply interesting cars only.
• Competition: Daily roadbook challenges with prizes, leading up to the Grandmaster of Roadtrip title for the best-performing team
• Accommodation: We’ll provide you with a list of the locations and some of the options to sleep in the area. The booking itself has to be made by you
• Evening Activities: Social gatherings, dinners, pub quizzes and fun integration parties
• Final Celebration: Afterparty and awards ceremony on the last evening

Each additional person in the team: €245.
💳 Payment Details & Sign-Ups:
• €250 deposit upon signup (non-refundable administrative cost required to receive full schedule and booking list)
• €700 final payment (required to receive full schedule & participate, refundable until two weeks before the event starts)
• Final payment has to be made no later than February one month before the event.
Other Requirements
Remeber that the trip leads you through a different countries. Make sure that you have all the documents needed by those contries in regard to your vehicle and yourself including registration documents, insurance, driving licence, ID, passport etc.
Register for the adventure
To sign up you have to fill out the form. After filling out the form we will contact you with all the details. There is no payment needed to book a space. The payments will only be necessary to confirm the booking after we gather a minimum amount of teams, but not later than 01.07.2026.
